Hi

Hello. I’m sorry for being away for so long. I’ve been up to my eyeballs with Necromancer Games. I’ve been going over the playtest document. Very good. I think we (you) did very well.

Again, I’m very sorry for leaving you all. Now I’ve added school to my list of responsibilities along with trying to secure employment for myself.

Elton who?

Just kidding, good to see you posting again and hope to see more of it in the future. :stuck_out_tongue:

Make sure you check out the first revision to the BRCS, well the first part - the Chapt 2 revision.

Thanks.

I’ve decided to revise an EVIL PLAN™ of mine. I’m trying to make inroads into the RPG publishing racket as an Entrepreneur. If I’m successful enough, I can probably woo a publishing license for Birthright from Wizards of the Coast.

Of course, if someone else hadn’t already did it. Like Richard Baker.

Edit: Oh, and happy birthday.

Hey, welcome back, Elton. Good to see another name from the past.

Thanks.

And I believe that I can bring back Birthright to print!

Thanks to Gold Rush Games’ Eureka! publishing program, I can do it. Their printer can print on demand, thus reducing the need for warehousing.

Really??? That would be a wonder sent by a Cerilian deity…

Well, I’ve not been around for that long so I don’t have a clue who you are, but I do know what vanity publishing is.

Anyone could get Birthright published that way. (Illegally I believe, though I’m not sure what the “deal” between WotC and the fansites is.)

Yeah. Gold Rush Games has a good program going on for small press publishers. The only drawback is that Eureka!'s printers won’t print inside images in color. So you will be sacrificing a prettier birthright in order to get it in print.

Edit: And I’m not going to do it illegally. It’s going to take some time, but it can come to pass.

Stop your teasing please

Wait until you manage to make it happen and then just surprise us, otherwise things will end up like they did fairly early on in the BRCS writing process with people trying to get a publishing company to ‘buy’ BR so that it could end up in print. What ended up happening was that people were too focused on betting it published ann not on getting it done.

Oh yeah, and if you do manage to make it happen make sure to look up Tony S for the artwork.

I’d rather just wake up one morning to find you make an announcement that BR was bought by (insert company here) and they are planning on publishing material starting (insert date here). That would make me very happy - and feel like a kid on CHristmas morning (if I can remember that far back  )

I think you’re missing my meaning: they have just adopted the same scheme that allows middle-aged women to get their own bad romance novel into a print format for them to foist off on their friends and relatives. I do not think this is a good programme.

Irdeggman has made a better point than I though, so I’ll shut up now.

Don’t worry, all teasing has stopped.

BR isn’t my first foray. But I’ll be working on a couple of things through the year so that I can make some peparations. If I can’t get Tony S., I’ll get Tom Lockwood. I’m already forging a professional relationship with him, so . . .
