The BRCS 3.5e chapters [DOWNLOAD FROM THIS LIST]

This ruleset was developed by the Birthright.net d20 development team in liason with the community, under license from Wizards of the Coast (WotC) to re-use, rewrite and adapt their AD&D 2nd edition publications relating to the Birthright Campaign Setting (BRCS). Under that license, the content in his document is copyright to the Birthright.net community and WOTC. It is not for sale or resale and no profit can be made from the use of this material.

This is a set of multiple PDF-format documents, each referring to an updated BRCS 3.5e chapter of the BRCS 3e. Collectively, these are called the BRCS 3/3.5e. None of this content relates to any later editions of Dungeons and Dragons.

There are no BRCS 3.5e versions of the BRCS 3e Chapters 6-9.
A version of the BRCS 3/3.5e based on the BRCS 3.5e Chapter 1-5 and BRCS 3e Chapters 6-9 is available on the Birthright wiki. However, these PDF versions are taken to be core rulesets.

  • Version 0.9
    Format: Word 1997/2004 doc files
    These were versions of the original format of the BRCS 3.5e supplied to Sorontar in 2024. They possibly were what was then converted to pdf files for the first release of the BRCS 3.5e chapters (see Version 1.0). However, the conversions no longer recreate the same pdf format and some textual content differed.
    They had filenames like Chap_1_ok_annotated.doc
  • Version 1.0
    Format: pdf files
    These were versions of the BRCS 3.5e pdf files released to the community.
    They had filenames like Chap_1_ok_annotated.pdf.
  • Version 1.1
    Formats: doc, pdf
    These were the versions of the BRCS 3.5e files once changes were made to the Version 0.9 files to make them be able to generate files in the pdf format as close as possible to the Version 1.0 version. Most of the changes were related to the format of the content. Actual content changes were made only to match the textual content of the V1.0 content. The issues addressed in the errata wiki page have not been addressed.
    The filenames used listed the BRCS version, the chapter number and the ruleset version, like BRCS_3.5e_Ch 1_v1.1.pdf
