I’ve noticed that some of the currently available descriptions of things have different information regarding these items than the source material indicates. For example, there is a Wizards of the Erebannien faction. And Rheulgard is a naval power?!? Uhhhh…
Has anyone else had these problems with the new site?
Some of the headers of the subject tags jiggle weirdly.
Also, the graphic of the Anuirean lord with his warriors speaks, but I’m getting no sound from it. Maybe I just have an outdated version of Windows? Lol…
I’m still trying to navigate the new site. Where did you find these weird things (like Rheulard’s navy, etc)? It does seem concerning. Has AI run amok again? Heh.
I didn’t get any sound from the Anuirean lord either, and i also see some of the icons being jittery. So i don’t think it’s just you… lol.
The compendium texts were AI generated as placeholders to design the new site. even though 80% is correct , there are some errors yes.
send those corrections to me on discord and ill address them
Well, that’s good to know that I’m not the only one.
If you go to the Brechtur section, it lists some of the domains in that region, and Rheulgard is one of them… as a “proud naval power”… lol. I suppose that could happen…
discord is quite active, we started using it because the old BRnet became to slow and unstable.
but now that might change again. but discord is one of the newer populr tools. so its both really, i cant say you must, but it doesnt hurt to be on both.
there always have been discussions about the wiki and stuff posted by users on BRnet wether it is canon or not, or have canon checks etc.
thats why i kind of implemented the compendium, to have canon references.
and the wiki is considered fan made. (there is/was no oficial aprovement system in place)
“If you go to the Brechtur section, it lists some of the domains in that region”
Ah, i see it now. And that’s not the only mistake among the descriptions. Some examples from each of the regions:
Anuire: it describes Tuornen as a land of dark forests and ancient magic. But it’s actually mostly farmland.
Khinasi: it describes Mairada as known for its university of magic, the finest in all Cerilia. The Royal College of Sorcery is in Anuire- the temple of Rilni is in Mairada.
Rjurik: it says the Blood Skill Barony is an orcish domain. Orcs… enough said [shudder].
Brechtur: it refers to Muden as a trading city- there is no city of Muden.
Vosgaard: it mentions the “Grovnikken Steppe”, calling it a vast grassland. I am not familiar with this term, only the Grovnekevic Forest.
There may be more, but those stood out to me from what i can recall off the top of my head. At least the AI makes mistakes without preference… lol.
I too will be happy to help in fixing these placeholders and adding content, if it would be helpful.
